An afternoon in the Abbey

Herts Musical Memories were delighted to have the opportunity to sing in St Albans cathedral at the end of May of this year. We were joined by the wonderful Clover Singing Club who brought some of their own songs and joined us in singing some much-loved favorites from our sessions. Accompanied by some refreshments; we had a wonderful afternoon performing to the public and showcasing what we do. It was a delight to see members from all of our nine groups sing together in such a magnificent location. Plus some new faces!

Given the remarkable success of this event, our focus is on organising a series of similar events in the future. These gatherings are designed to actively involve our audience and craft memorable experiences. Each event presents a fresh avenue for us to interact with our community and share insightful content. Check regularly on our website for updates on these and our socials (linked at the top of this page). Currently we are working on bringing back our carol service in Watford for this Christmas. Again, this should serve as an opportunity to collaborate with our groups all over Hertfordshire and the general public. We will be posting a date for this in due course.
