We would like to send out a big thank you to all those who have already started to raise money for us, for those who have so kindly donated money and for those supporting our crowd fund. We really appreciate all your support.

Sunday 2nd July saw a lovely concert, ‘On the Sunny Side’ performed by volunteers from our Watford group at St Pauls church. Alison Boyd, David Griffiths and Tom Boyd sang a selection of songs and read poetry to evoke summer days. It was truly enchanting and they raised £258.00. A huge thank you to them and Christine Bennett who help organise the event.

Another big thank you goes to the Kings Langley Players who nominated us as their charity and donated £1,000. I have been going to the Review at Kings Langley for many years are I am delighted they are supporting us. Also, thank you to Brian and Pat for nominating us.

On Sunday 9th July, Global Harmony, a local world music choir based in St Albans performed at the Farmers Market in St Albans and raised £80 in an hour. Many thanks to those involved.

Herts Musical Memories succeeded our first fundraising application and received help to purchase instruments for our Wheathampstead group from Wheathampstead Parish Council. A big thank you to them.

Herts Musical Memories is delighted to announce we have been nominated as the St Albans Bach Choir’s charity for their evening carol concert on the 9th December.

Sue Daniels raised a fantastic £650 as part of a quiz night for the Hertford Musical Memories Group. Well done quizzers.

We have been nominated for The One Family Foundation – fantastic news. Go to our Supporting Herts Musical Memories page to see how you can help make this a success for the charity.

A big thank you to Katie’s Jumping Flees who have donated £2,000. They are also playing at our sessions at Wheathampstead and St Albans.

If you hold an event for us please take lots of pictures and we will upload them to our website.

We are looking for freelance group leaders who can become part of our pool of singing leaders providing support for our core team, covering holidays etc. If you are interested please email Kerry Brabant admin@hertsmusialmemories.org.uk or use our contact form.
